Need some advice on power source!

My New amp should be here by monday at the latest. It is supposed to push 1700 rms at 2ohms. What type of battery or secondary power source should i get, and where is a good place to buy?

Got a yellow top ordered, any suggestions for a bat/cap or anything else?

Make sure you have clean bare metal connections and tight. IMO you should of got a better battery and no need for a cap ever.

Got ya, I got a good deal on the Yellow top, do you think I will be fine running 1600 rms with 1/0 gauge?

O gauge is good up to around 3000 watts. NSB batts are some killer batts.

Batcap 3000 or 4000 is what I like. And 1600 watts would be fine on 2 gauge honestly possibly 4 gauge depending on the wire.

Will the battery be fine?

Will it work for you? Probably, I have used yellow tops in the past and when you are wanting the most out of your system they just have too much voltage drop and slow recovery time.

Finally got my set up done today, head unit is in and everythings going. My first head unit came in with a cracked screen......got my replacement a couple days ago. Now i need better mids/highs

What size are you looking for?

Have not really started I think my doors are 5 1/2s or 6s which being a wagon i have 4. There are also tiny tweeters in each door as well.

I think jonatan might have so dd 6.5's for sale.

Does anyone know anything about the white colored Xstatic 400? is this an older model?

Found out its 5 years old...I think I will pass on that one, who knows if it will hold a charge!
