Finals

Is this happenin? If so are there any details?

really??? that's kinda lame. i was hopin there would be alot this season, but apparently not.

Is the format still capped spl or like is was last year?

the wake the dead flyer says its cone area based like last year, i want some music average though.

That is up in the air at the moment, not sure which direction wanting it to go. I personally like the music average battle style, but burp format motivates you to rebuild and get louder, which music average in bracket form only sharpen your technique and doesn't motivate you as much to want to get louder/rebuild. JMO

plus i think that the average on music scared some people away. the one "official" arspl even that i went to there where a total of 5 competitors in 4 classes.

If its al outt spl we might show... Try to get another tall trophy

Yup Evan, same as last year so I hear, same class format and layout, burp classes, TL in kick in globe. I hear larger then normal trophies, just not sure if they will be as big as the ones last year.

Lemme see what my partner wants to do... Might come with 1 d5... See how that works

We can't have finals since we havent had any shows lol but working on getting big trophies if it doesnt happen will be same style as before but show should be good so don't miss out just cuz of trophy size size doesn't always matter :p I'll post details this week

Ok show of hands: if we have big fancy trophies and some give sways who's paying $50 to compete? Or regular trophies $25 to compete lets see some votes!!!!! Need to know soon so I can make it happen and if u have ideas hit me up, and doing regular 0-250 251-500 501-750 751-up oh and a big boy class for Andrew pinky and joel well that's if u guys are coming let me know

See this is why no shows lol Jk no one is saying big trophies higher fee smaller trophies fun and small fee, I will stick to small and fun with a few prizes fee will be $25 and you better make plans cuz show is around the corner see u there

I like the lower $$/smaller trophy route. My problem is that I'm a non-member so I'm probably not eligible to go (or vote) anyway.

If I get a trophy it will just end up in the attic with the rest, so i vote cheaper.

i i highly doubt that you will be required to be a member. i went to wake the dead last year and wasn't a member, granted it wasn't arspl finals last year.

we need another burrito contest so i can have free lunch again
