| also guy on another forum has 20 feet of brand new kicker 1/0 for 60 bucks shipped. which out of the 2 would be better? | |

| I used to use 4/0 welding cable it worked fine. Out of the two choices you have a would say the Kicker. I just don't like the way the streetwires says up to 4000+ strands of wire.

| The only problem with welding wire, is the jacket, it is not oil resistance, and can catch fire. Even tho it is designed to take 2000+ degree welding slag, it is not designed for continual engine bay heat!!!! | |

| Jump on that deal. $2 per foot on OFC wire is a bargain. Extra wire always comes in handy. I probably have an extra 20-30 feet of Kolossus Flex laying around just in case. | |
