Sundown Nightshade 18s

I have two Sundown Nightshade V1 18s in very good condition with an extremely well built enclosure. Low hours since recone. $650 for all, I don't want to separate them. Call or text with questions. 5 zero 1, 5 one 9, zero 618.

Are these the ones I reconed? If so I can say they are built very well, have 8 gauge stinger HPM direct leads and can take 2k RMS each easy all day!!!! GLWS!!!

Mike, I got the Navigator to a 152 at 51 Hz before I got bored with it. I want to do something more fun. The Navigator is already sold and the 18s are next to go. At the Poor Boyz show, I had more fun doing a 138.8 with 2 JL 8W0s and 200 watts than I ever did with the single 18.


I'm thinking a small car (CRX, Honda hatch, Eclipse, Focus, etc.) with a single driver (no bigger than a 12) and my two DD M3as strapped would be a lot of fun to do.


For now, the 18s will be in the F150. Just in case there are any local(ish) shows this summer. If they sell, I'll go back to the 8s.

I took the 18s off the market for a while, but I've found another set up (used) that I'm interested in. So they're for sale again. To make it happen, I have to have $650 for my 18s with the enclosure. If I can't get $650, I'm not selling them. I don't want to sell things separate, sorry.

The enclosure has a triple layer baffle, kerfed port, lots of bracing and fiberglass in some critical areas. I used most of 5 sheets of 3/4 MDF, around 8 feet of 2" round oak rod for bracing and 1.5 gallons of fiberglass. Every layer of MDF has a coat of construction adhesive between them. In short, there's a ton of materials (read $$$) that went into it. It's not the junk enclosure I used earlier in the year.


In the F150, it's done a 151.8 at 36 HZ peak and a 30 second average of 149.5 at 36 Hz as well. It could stand to have more port area for more SPL, but it sounds great as is.
