anyone know any place locally that can rebuild a alt to make it a higher output one? or do these usually fail and i need to spend 500 bucks from irragi or mechman? just wondering.

I was always told that when you beefed them up like that it would make them weak

Searcy has one they only go up to 180-200

Richard starter in little rock does, it is really not that much different from a HO if it is done correctly, and he charges a dollar per amp as well I believe.
